Well congratulations to Barry for his 1st ever win, and 1st ever G8 Black Towel. @Mello&TownscliffeGC. he hit a stagering 5 under nett par round, with a 41 point victory. He also contiuned the luck of the G8GIMP to CHAMP.

Congratulations to all the other prize winner and i want to thank you all for attending. I think rescheduling this comp was possibly the best thing did, from the snow in march to the glourious sunshine in may. And what a course, true fast greens, challeging course, scenic layout, good food, polite staff, very nice club house, helpful pro, friendly members and even the weather was beautiful.. I just cant fault the place and another hidden gem, one which i know we will go back agen and agen.

One final note, and this is to all of you......

We play Golf for the laugh, for the joy, for the trophies and watching the crumbles. Some ppl like it becaue its a day out, I love it because the atmostphere is electric and this just increases for the entire day/comp. This society started back in 2009, with 8 members all from warrington, but now we have members dotted all over the northwest, all with diff persoanlities, all with diff abilities, friends of friends and all of us come together to play GOLF. Golf is a game that should be played in the correct spirit and etiquette, with considerations to all players and members of this society. We all have a duty to ourselfs and to the other members to uphold the integrity and principles of the game. The committee of this society will contiue to be guided by the historical priciples and the need for the Rules to be clear, comprehensive and relevant.

The invite for the next comp will be sent in the coming days. This is our main comp of the year, our 2018 G8 OPEN @FleetwoodGC. Yes this is a links and it looks awsome.
