A close victory for Dave @SlaleyHall golf club, just piping Mr Mark Howard on count back from the 3rd hardest hole, having both scored the same on the front and back 9 holes.

Congratulations to all the prize winner on such a tough golf course, them greens were frightening.

Mark did sign his scorecard for a 29, but after checking his card this was put to 28, Mark had scored the 10th hole a 5 for 2 instead of a 5 for 1. The commitee convened and decided not to DQ or take away all the points on that hole. Instead we just corrected the mistake.

ONCE AGAIN I URGE YOU ALL TO CONTINUE TO CALCULATE AND ADD YOUR OWN SCORE AND CHECK EACH SCORECARD AFTER THE ROUND.

WE DONT WANT TO DQ ANYONE ESP IF ITS A WINNING SCORE, BUT IF THIS KEEPS HAPPENING THEN WE THE COMMITTEE MAY NEED TO LOOK AT THIS RULE AGAIN.

THIS IS A WARNING TO YOU ALL.

All in all tho it was another cracking weekend, Slaley Hall was a perfect setting for our 1st G8RyderCup and RoadTrip comps. i hope you all enjoyed it and a big thank you to paul for organising it. Bring on 2019....
