And so our 10th G8Season has come to an end, another very good season, if not the best in my opinion even though its been a stuggle for me. We've had the usual drama, laughter and apple crumbles. The courses we picked were all in decent condition, we got lucky with the weather on more than a few occasions, esp 2019 being one of the wetter years for a while.

Its also been one to reflect over the festive period on how far we've come in the past 10 years. For having the same core members from that very 1st day at BoysnopeGC on December 12th 2009, still playing at ConwyGC in November 2019, nearly 10 years later, shows the real true spirit of the Grampus 8 Society we created.

Congratulations to Barry Sherlock in becoming the new 2019 Grampus 8 Order of merit and champion golfer of the year. He definalty deserved it even after all the practice he has put in over the years, all i will say now though, its one thing to win it, but something extra special to defend it, so good luck.

Congratulations to our politest G8 memeber, Damian Me, in winning his 1st Claret Jug in his 1st proper season.

Congratulations to Paul Phillips in winning his 1st G8Tour Champion and also Congratulations again to Paul Phillps, MIke Rosson, and Andy Stonehouse, in winning the G8TeamTrophy. this is now Pauls 5th in total and 4th on the trott. will he make it his 6th in 2020?

Any way i will end in saying a big thank you to each and everyone of you, for attending, playing and being a part of our Grampus 8 Society over the past 10 years. I do hope in the next 10 years, we continue to have a laugh and enjoy as much golf as we can.
